17th General Conference of the International Council of Museums – ICOM

Stavager, Norway | July 1 to 5, 1995

1995 Stavanger hosted the 17th General Conference of ICOM during the first week  of  July. The  theme of the conference was Museums and Community and 1,400  delegates attended from 95 different  countries. CIDOC held its own meetings during the  ICOM  General Conference, beginning with a Museums day in Oslo and finishing with the AGM at the Alstor Hotel in Stavanger.
