Joint meeting of CIDOC and MCN

The 1994 Annual Meeting was organised in collaboration with the Museum Computer Network (MCN). The CIDOC meeting began on Sunday 28th with a breakfast introduction to the working groups, followed by working group meetings. The plenary session on Monday was opened by Yanni Herreman and was followed by concurrent sessions. Tuesday was given over to walking tours of Washington museums. MCN joined the CIDOC delegates for joint sessions on Wednesday, while the programme for Thursday and Friday was set by MCN. The conference was to have concluded with a tour of the White House and a trip to a baseball match at the Baltimore Orioles, but this was cancelled due to a players’ strike.
